You can major in whatever you want, just so long as you take the required pre-reqs. As an undergrad, you have to take biology, chemistry, English, humanities courses, etc. You'll also have to complete the MCAT, a standardized test. Medical school takes about four years to complete, and you'll recieve the title of Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) when you're finished with program. Some medical schools don’t require students to have a bachelor’s degree, but majority of them do have it before entering.
