Choosing a College

my situation’s a bit different. i’m 15 years old and i’ve graduated highschool with honors, and i’ve taken some courses at the community college by my house at the age of 14. i made mostly a’s in highschool and all a’s in my college courses. but i now want to move on to a nice university (hopefully on a full scholarship =] ). i live in the dfw area, texas and would prefer a college closer to home, but going out of state is fine with me. i’d love to go to stanford but i don’t know how high their standards are. i also am stuck between what to DO. i’d like to become a pediatrician, or a teen magazine editor, but mostly i’m intrested in buying and selling stocks. i just want to make as much money possible, doing the least amount of work. any help?

i have been worrying a lot lately about choosing the right college, and i have almost 40 college’s papers to look at and more coming in the mail every day. with so many options out there, i’m worried that i will not find the right college amongst all the clutter. i know i shouldn’t be panicking, but i have to decide my whole future in a few short months, and i’m getting very stressed out over it. i want to stay in Ohio, and i like the looks of capital and Ohio state university.
i was wondering, how long did it take you to feel content and comfortable with your college choice, or did you absolutely hate your college once you started going there? how did you narrow down your college choice? what college did you choose and why? answers to any or all of these questions will be much appreciated. i would just like to hear a bit of your experience with choosing a college.

I have been accepted to Carlow University in Pittsburgh, pa and University of Pitt in Johnstown. I’ve looked at both majors offered and they have relatively the same stuff. I visited both and they are amazing. I need some input.

I want to either major in secondary education, communications, or journalism. If you know anything about these major it would also be helpful.

When filling out my college applications, if i select Biology as my intended major, will that be set in stone for my freshman year?

Or can you change your major before you schedule your classes? Will colleges assume that the major you put on your application is what you still want?
