Choosing a College

I just got accepted to my college of choice but I really wanted to go to the upper division. I only showed them my 2nd transcript which is from my community college where I did well but not that great and it was more than enough to enroll me in. However, I didnt show them my 1st transcript because it took awhile for it to arrive through the mail since it was from the other state. Thats where I previously attended my 1st college there. THen again, I didnt want to show them the transcript since I did so poorly there and as a result my GPA dropped under 2.0. for three quarters straigh. Now the question is, once they have found out about the 1st transcript, how do you think my current college of choice will react to it? Here is more instances of what Im trying to explain…Will they still permit the trasnferring of my earned credits from the 1st college despite the bad grades? Or not show them the first transcript altogether? I want want that earned credits transferred!

In the meantime, my 2nd choice college is sending me all kinds of “do this by this date” correspondence, i.e. - apply for financial aid, register for classes if you want to be sure to get that class…..do I need to do this stuff now? Can it wait? Should I call the admissions office there to find out protocol? Help - I don’t want to mess up my choices with a bad decision!!!
