Choosing a College

I would like to work with and create new technology (perhaps environmentally oriented), but at the same time i would not like to stray to far from studying international relations. Meaning i still would like to be very intact with the political/social world, but also be working on the next best way for cleaning up water or the air. I also love music and i’m quite good at writing and playing it.

I applied to eight schools, which I like almost equally. They are all roughly the same size, have the same rigor class-wise, the same demographic makeup. Some are closer to home than others, some have a handful of my high school classmates attending while others will be a completely new place…basically, I am just panicking, knowing that I will have to choose which one within a month. I have not visited one of them. I am revisiting four of them soon.

Did anyone out there have a just awful time choosing and how did you do it.

Hey I’m having a little difficulty choosing a college. Here’s the situation: I’ve been accepted to UGA and Georgia Southern (I live in georgia) and I can’t choose between the two. My parents want me to become an engineer, and Georgia Southern has a program that allows you to transfer to Georgia Tech after two years and complete your degree. I would like to do something computer engineering related. I would also like to go to UGA because it embodies all the things I want in a college; great college town, football, lots of people, and a good education. I also want to try doing something in the mass communications field (film, television) and they have a great communications school.
any advice is appreciated.
