beachgirl asked: I am in my freshmen year of college, and I am having a hard time choosing a major. I have change my mind so many times (more times than I can count) I know that I do want a degree that does not require a lot of math because math has never been my best subject. I have often thought about a career in criminal justice. Does anybody have any suggestions about what I can do to choose a college major or one that does not require a lot of math?

Jacob asked: I am trying to decide between these 3 concentrations marketing, finance, and management information systems. I am going to Sam Houston State. With the marketing and finance concentrations my main worry is my college not having the prestige of say, UT or A&M. Does that really matter? What is the material covered in a management information systems degree? I want to have autonomy and not be stuck in an office and also earnings of $50,000 + soon after college. Any answers are appreciated.

Johny asked: Okay i just started junior year and I’ve started looking at school and am overwhelmed. As of now I have a 3.1 gpa with a lot of extracurricular s. By the end of the year I am hoping to pull it up to about a 3.3. I want to go somewhere in the northeast where I live. Does anyone have any idea of some schools that I could start looking into? I don’t care if it’s a large university of smaller college.

BadRomance asked: I have applied to several colleges and was accepted to my first choice. I already know that I will need financial aid (as most students do, I assume) but how do I find out how much help I can get? I know I need to complete the FAFSA but should I do that before or after I commit to a school? And is the amount decided based upon the school I choose or my current financial status?

Glenn P asked: I need help choosing my college major. Right now I am going to be majoring in physics for the first semester of my freshman year. I am having second thoughts with this major. I am also thinking about majoring in forestry. I am just unsure what kind of jobs this opens up and what are these jobs like? I am also worried about the pay. Is the pay decent? I know I should choose the major that feels right for me, not because the money is good, but I think money should be a factor.
I am also thinking about becoming a funeral director because my father owns his own business and I will have great pay and job security. What do you guys think about my dilema?
