      1) Financial aid (#1 reason)
      2) Strong liberal arts curriculum
      3) Friendly campus with easily accessible staff and professors
      4) Attractive campus with decent dorms in a safe community
      5) Good reputation among grad schools

      Reasons 2-5 are not in any particular order, but basically I chose a place where I felt comfortable.
